The Founder Directors of the organisation, are all first generation entrepreneurs, have above 40 years of individual experience in the fields of Thermal Engineering, Steam and Power Generation, Heat and Mass Transfer equipment design, General Mechanical Design and Project Management. Prior to founding Avant-Garde, they worked for Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a premier Power Equipment Manufacturing and Contracting Company in the country, for more than a decade and subsequently were with an engineering consultancy company for a period of Seven years. In the Engineering Consultancy company they were spearheading Power plant Engineering, Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering, Boiler and other Heat and Mass Transfer equipment designs and business development, with independent responsibilities.
G.V.Raman is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Madras. He did his graduation from the Regional Engineering College, Trichy and was an Institution Gold Medallist.

P.S.Sankaranarayanan is a Mechanical Engineer from Calicut University He did his graduation from Regional Engineering College, Calicut.

S.Balasubramanian, Director is a Mechanical Engineer from Madurai University and a Post Graduate, in Thermal Power Equipment Design and Manufacturing, from the University of Madras. . He did his graduation in Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology and an Institution Gold Medallist.
Receipient of Life Time achievement awards by ‘The Sugar Technologists’ Association of India’ in 2014 and by ‘Bharatiya Sugar’ in 2017.
K.Ragothaman, Director is a Mechanical Engineer and a Post Graduate, in Thermal Power Equipment Design and Manufacturing, from the University of Madras. He did his graduation in PSG College Technology, Coimbatore and his post-graduation in Regional Engineering College, Trichy.
Receipient of Life Time achievement award by ‘Waste to Energy (WtE) Research & Technology Council’ (WTERT-India) in 2018.
